We have provided multiple versions of the discovery bible study method guides we have used in the field. One version for those who are disciples and another for those who are discovering God before becoming a disciple.

First Third - Look Back
01 Greetings and Opening Prayer
Take a short time to greet another and open in prayer
02 Worship and Spontaneous Prayer
Take time to worship as a group and give room for spontaneous prayer
03 Loving Accountability
3.1 Share Testimonies of what God did in our lives this past week.
3.2 Ask, how did we go with obeying what we learned in the last study.
3.3 Ask, how did sharing the story from last time.
04 Challenges and Thanks
4.1 Time of sharing our challenges and things we are thankful for this week.
4.2 Together, see how we can help one another and what we can't give it to God in prayer.
Second Third - Look Up

01 Read Text
Read through the selected Bible text or passage several times
02 Retell
Take turns at retelling the story or text in your own words
03 Read And Ask
Read through the Scripture text again and ask questions
3.1 What does this tell us about God and His character?
3.2 What does this tell us about people and their situation?
3.3 What is the scripture saying to us individually, and how we should respond with that in mind? Be specific with the responses.
Final Third - Look Ahead
01 Cast Vision
Why we are called to make disciples and walk in obedience.
02 Goal Setting
Ask - With whom are we going to share the story and what we learned this week. Set a definite sharing goal.
03 Closing Prayer
Take time to close in prayer and pray for goals and help from God to obey what we learned.
